The Generator GEN is the central component of the Movaria Powertrain architecture, replacing conventional mechanical transmission systems such as chains or belts. By directly coupling the rider’s input to the Motor Generator Unit (MGU) via an integrated electromechanical interface, GEN eliminates mechanical losses and wear-prone components, resulting in a highly efficient and lowmaintenance system. The system offers five programmable assist levels, each calibrated to simulate distinct torque curves and pedaling dynamics. These profiles are dynamically modulated based on real-time cadence input, enabling adaptive support that mirrors natural cycling behavior. A key innovation is the bidirectional energy flow: riders can initiate regenerative braking by pedaling in reverse, allowing kinetic energy to be converted back into electrical energy and stored in the battery— enhancing range and sustainability. In the event of battery disconnection or failure, a patented fallback mechanism ensures continued operability of the drivetrain, maintaining rider mobility and safety under all conditions.
