Working Student for Django Full Stack (m/f/x)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Participation in the development and optimization of front-end and back-end components for our web IoT fleet management application

  • Implementation of responsive and user-friendly designs with HTML, CSS (Tailwind), and JavaScript

  • Development and integration of backend logic using Django and Python including database design and Django models in relational and time-series databases

  • Independent implementation of new features and ideas across the full stack

  • Testing and debugging of frontend and backend components

Requirements

  • You are studying computer science, media informatics, web development or a comparable course of study

  • Practical experience in front-end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Basic knowledge of Python and Django, and an interest in backend development

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS or other CSS frameworks is a plus

  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) is a plus

  • Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative work

  • Knowledge of graphic design is an advantage

  • Good sense for colors, typography and layout

  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX design and an understanding of user-centered design

  • Knowledge of responsive design

  • Good written and spoken English skills
